Reflections: Our initial assignment prompted a critical discussion on the transformative impact of Enterprise IT adoption for businesses. Engaging in this collaborative learning exercise allowed me to articulate my perspective on EIT’s pivotal role and to critically evaluate the arguments presented by peers, which broadened my understanding of its strategic implications for organisations of all sizes. The iterative process of initial post, peer reviews, and summary refined my argumentation skills.

The subsequent comparison of my algorithm’s performance against a C-based solution from the tutor was particularly insightful, offering a tangible understanding of language efficiency and algorithmic optimisation in handling large datasets. This exercise reinforced the importance of efficient code in enterprise-level applications.

Reflections: For the final assignment, I had to identify and analyse a significant emerging trend in Enterprise IT and assess its projected impact over the next five years. This task honed my research and analytical skills, requiring me to synthesise information and articulate a clear, concise argument for the chosen trend’s influence. The creation of the presentation further developed my ability to communicate complex technical and strategic insights effectively.
